Account Sharing Prevention Test
Price-conscious users often share paid accounts with family, friends, or strangers. Every shared login is a subscription you do not get paid for, and a security risk for the account owner.
ShieldLabs links every sign-in to the device behind it, so you can see how many devices use one account and stop the ones over your limit. ShieldLabs also detects account sharing on your users out of the box, as a high-risk event.
How to use this demo
- Click Create account. A username and the password
demo-passwordare filled in, and you are signed in. - Click Copy link under Share this account with another device, and open the link in a different browser or on your phone. For example, if you are using Chrome, open it in Firefox or Safari.
- Click Sign in there. The username and password are filled in, but the sign-in is stopped: the account is already signed in on another device.
