Use the demo below to see how ShieldLabs identifies people who create several accounts to abuse free trials.
How to use this demo
- Click Create trial account. A made-up username and a password are filled in.
- Click Go back, then Create trial account again. A new username is filled in, but the second trial is refused: the visitor already has one.
- Open this page in incognito mode or turn on a VPN and try again.
- You can reset this scenario with the Restart button at the top right.
Note
Clearing cookies and opening a private window within a few minutes gives one visitor several new cookies in quick succession. ShieldLabs reads that as automation, so for the next few minutes the demo refuses the request with a browser automation message.
